 Hi my name is Aiisya Najwa. You can call me Najwa. Today, I am 1 year old. Yeay! I have 2 teeth and my mama has started complaining about them – hehe why? Because I know I can bite her N..hehe. I am so happy because I can walk and almost run. I am very active girl (3 times – fell off the bed), but I do like acting as a princess. My sister teaches me. I think you know my sister – Kakak Husna. I like to play with her, because I can bully her (Plez, don’t tell her my trick). Whenever I want something from her, I just pretend to cry and then pointing at her, my Mama sure will help me. Anyway, I love my kakak very much.

I am a breastfed baby, so I am very healthy and smart. I do not have colic, constipation and diarrhea even when I was so small. My Mama gives me the best milk ever. However since Ramadhan it is not exclusive anymore. My Mama was struggling with her supply during the fasting month, so I started drink FM if Mama could not get enough milk. Nevermind, Mama. I understand. I can drink FM, no problem. But I still love your milk, the smell and the snuggle . Don’t feel guilty and sad, I know you are doing your very best for me.  I love you, Mama!

My Papa is the best papa. He likes to clean me when I poo-poo. He is the one, who always accompany me during the morning nap (sometimes till 12 noon), and Papa will bathe me. If Papa is not around, I have to wake up very early and have to follow Mama. I don’t like it, I want to sleep – just like my Papa =).

I love my Adik, my Ibu and Atok too. They take care of me while Mama is working. I love to stay and play with them eventhough sometimes, Adik felt lazy forgot to feed or to bathe me. I will try to behave well, coz I know Adik and Ibu are busy with the sewing and the customers, but playing is so much fun! I hope, Mama & Papa will get a maid soon, so that I can play more!

You know, I am very lucky. I have great-grandparents which I know as Mak and Abah.  Mak likes to watch me. She always remind everybody to check on me - what am I eating, what am I doing and etc. Hehehe..I feel like VIP! Abah also likes to play with me. Sometimes, Abah will look after me if Atok is not around. But he’s really mad if I disturb his stereo set. Hik hik, sorry Abah, I like to see the buttons and the lights. I believe, I am his favorite great-grand daughter (Oh this one also cannot tell Kakak;)

I think that’s all from me. I hope I can write more. Oh anyway, my Mama said today, I can ask a gift from you, so…..What you’ve bought for me??

Today is the most beautiful Friday of the year, after the Friday’s morning of 1st Eid. Last night, my Husna suprised me with a lovely photo frame and a card (from Papa), after pretending she was having a nightmare…ahaha nagis konon.. (tapi you tak pandai berlakon la syg – mcm Mia;)

The card is very unique, it can record your voice for 3 seconds, so they had recorded the happy birthday song earlier – wahh..very touching!  Thank you Husna.

This morning, before drove Husna to school, I saw a very nice and striking pink bag in the car…eh ada lagi suprise, sure kerja Papa ni. As usual, Husna who was the one unwrapping the present. It’s a Swatch Skin watch! Ohh..lagi la berbunga-bunga hati ku. Thank you, Amran! Muahh!

How about Najwa? Her walking skill and a tooth – Yeay!!. That’s my presents too, dear!

Just now, not only having lunch with my closest colleagues..they had planned a suprise party for me. Huhu…sangat-sangat terharu! Thanks guys! Really appreciate it. [nanti saya upload gambar].

I would like to take this opportunity, to say thank you to my beloved Ibu & Ayah, who have had supported me in many ways, love me unconditionally and always pray for me. My one & only Adik, despite the headache that you always give me (kekeke), I know you will always be there for me. My beloved uncles, aunties and cousins (esp: Geng Putrajaya), and my sisters-in-law,…I love you all and I know you love me too!
My friends – which are too many to be mentioned here, you know who you are – thanks for being there, during my toughest moments and of course, share my happiness and layan my gila-ness:p.

Not forgotten, my kind and loving husband -Ahmad Amran, my lovely princesses – Husna and Najwa, thanks for making me smile, laugh, cry..to have such wonderful experience and feeling that completes me as a woman and a mother – a blissful one! 

Last but not least, Syukur for the blessings that Allah pours out on me, my family, and friends every day… [macam pernah karang je ayat ni:p]

Me?? The first thing I thought was, who is going to mark my students’ papers – if I’m going to deliver soon? Lepas tu, fikir pasal thesis aku pulak…I am really blur and stuck, how to solve this unpredicted situation??

Raya? Raya pun tade mood sangat. Aku balik kg (BP) bawak tests & CW yang nak kena marking. Baju raya pun tak siap..huhu sadis sungguh pagi raya aku:( Tapi apa2 pun aku happy la jugak dapat jumpa and kumpul ramai2 dengan sedara2 yang jumpa setahun sekali je (boleh tumpang baca pasal raya by adik2 ipo ku : kuizikel & cekkeya)-lebih kurang je crita sama dgn aku. Tengah tunggu Bell update pasal raya << cepatt aa!!)

I’ve finished marking my first paper. Sangat berbangga dgn diri sendiri wpun resultnya macam *tut*. It took me 2 days only. Now I’m waiting for my second paper which is on 5th Oct. Meanwhile, I guess I need to track back my pending thesis report. Sigh!

My weight is 58kg. The baby is 2.7kg now (cepat lak dia naik). But everything all fine. I’m having normal symptoms of 37wks – Braxton Hicks, a lot of pressure u-know-where, back pain, hips pain, sleepless nite and constantly pooping. I am praying very hard that I’m NOT going to deliver soon, but NOT later than 22 Oct. Takmo susahkan sapa2 for taking over my job. Ya Allah, makbulkan lah! Amin!

Last Friday, I went for my 34-weeks checkup. Alhamdulillah…my urine test’s result was all fine. Ahkak suka sangat! pH - normal, glucose - normal, protein : -ve. Syukur sangat2. I was so worried if my glucose level still high as the last visit. My weight is 57.1kg, and the baby is 2.1kg. So far so good and I am still fasting till today, Alhamdulillah

Because of the fine result, ahkak makan tak-hengat malam tu..muhahahaha…takbleh tahan la;) AIST had a buka puasa dinner cum farewell party for the practical students, at Renaissance Hotel, Melaka. Sangat ok makanannya, variety, well presented, service ok, surau sangat bersih. Boleh makan lagi ye kat sana, boss?

Why I was so demn happy about the result?? Aaarghh….this time I have Gestational Diabetes. Sigh. FYI, this type of diabetes is occured during pregnancy only. It is believed, will be away, once you deliver the baby. Tapi, ada possibilities untuk ibu-ibu akan kena diabetes in future. Aiyakk!!

I found out about it during the last visit. The urine test showed a high level of glucose, a week before Ramadhan begin. Doc ask me to check the level of glucose in my blood pulak. So I had to do the Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT) (Kena amik darah otey, sungguh panjang jarum itu!!). The process was like this..that nite I have to fast after midnite till morning, before taking the test. A sample of your blood will be taken. After that, you will be given a drink – SANGAT MANIS GILER….1 mug penuh aku kena minum. Rasa nak muntah. Then I had to wait for 2 hours. Within this hours, you are advised to stay calm and relax and cannot eat, minum boleh. Some ppl will feel nausea, shivering and dizzy. Aku? Semua aku rasa. After 2 hours, another blood sample is taken. This time to see how your body break down the sugar. Aku terus balik selepas test tu. A few hours then, the doc personally called me to tell me the bad news. Oh ooo….:(( She explained and asked me to do another test – Blood Sugar Profile (BSP) Test where I have to check my blood sugar level for 4 times in a day!! Sangat menyusahkan tapi alhamdulilah, aku dpt setelkan dengan baik just a day before the 1st Ramadhan. Pagi puasa, 8am take the test. Doc akan cucuk hujung jari kita (dengan jarum yang sngt kecil:), then masukkan darah kat alat kecil (ada macam kertas litmus), then bacaan pun keluar . First result = 4.4 . Lepas tu, baru boleh breakfast. Then kul 12noon kena pegi lagi (before lunch), result = 3.5 3.8. Lepas tu, around 4pm, cucuk lagi..resultnya = 4.8 . Last sekali 10pm, the result was = 4.6. Yeayy!! Conclusionnya OK la and definitely I have to watch out my meals la…

SANGAT MENCABAR otey di bulan puasa ini…..!

Oh ya, another important information…the baby is GIRL !!! Husna suka, Papa suka, aku pun suka. Family aku je ngada2, frust..hehe nak baby boy pulak. Takpe..rezeki Allah. Senang woooo jaga anak pompuan ni;) Preparation ? Not yet. Belum tengok, Husna’s things that can be recycled..hehe. Aku tengah sevey nak beli breast pump apa..last time I used Avent Isis – never dissappoited me, however this time I want to buy dual pump, jimat masa, tidak membazir susu dan very practical for working moms. So frens, any suggestion for me? TQ.

Last weekend, we went back to Srg Buaya. Husna was very excited, choosing a card for her aunties and was very happy with the birthday celebration thingy. She even asked a present to give to her aunties but we were so late that night, so we decided to buy later. So on Sunday, before went to BP mall, we did a small celebrations for the girls – nyanyi and potong kek je;). Husna yang paling excited, she even had planned who will blow which candles – of course dia salah sorang yang nak tiup!

So my dearie sisters, happy birthday to all of you. Wishing you everything that brings you happiness today and always. You’ve been blessed with a caring Abah who is always worried (actually) about his 4 daughters. You’ve been blessed with a tall-but-gomuk brother who is always there for his sisters. You’ve been blessed too, with a wanna-be princess niece who is always excited to meet her aunties (esp Awa), and lastly, you’ve been blessed with a loving-sporting-kind-cun-but-buncit, the one and only kakak ipo who is very happy with her 4 in-law sisters

To Ana, bertambah2 rezeki mu hendaknya, kerana kekayaan itu perlu dikongsi bersama2:)
To Azyan, moga dpt kerja yang hebat2, dan boleh dikongsi bersama juga:)
