We reached at Hotel First World’s lobby around 2pm. There were so many ppl, SO crowded..ppl were sitting & lepaking anywhere!! I Q-up and got the ticket. Hah??? Ko tgk ticket ahkak ni….Subhanallah, ni kul berapa aku nak check-in ni?? We had lunch there after ’blank’ sekejap. We ordered Nasi Ayam, AND YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WAS THE NASI AYAM???? RM 14.70. The meal was just like nasi ayam that costs u around RM3.50- paling tinggi la. Giler kan? Tu dia, tengok budak2 tu abiskan nasi-ayam-mahal sampai habis! Bagus2. Lain kali aku nak hangkut dengan pinggan-mangkuk-sudu-garfu sekali. Aku rasa harga dia termasuk benda2 tu semua, kita je tak tahu!!

After asking a few ppl that works there, the best choice was to go ’buying’ the time, in somewhere else. Left our luggage at the luggage counter and it’s FREE:) We went for prayer first. Not so difficult to find a Surau there, not too small and not too big, ada telekung but not many and suprisingly ramai jugak nak solat..alhamdulillah. Then, we went to the indoor games and papa suggested – let’s bowling! Actually, bagus jugak idea tu, semua mcm dah monyok, jadi bila main boling semua ceria kembali. Kelaka la jugak tengok budak2 ni main. Husna pun main jugak!  
 
Once we finished, we went down and found that our number was called already…hehe..but it’s cool since we knew that they got special counters – 7, 8, 9 for servicing numbers that had been called. Hehe.. Alhamdulillah around 7.30pm, we checked-in our rooms. Our room was quite small,no bathtub, no wardrobe but I guessed it was suitable for us. If it is clean, nothing else to be said;) The girls’s room was bigger and there was extra bed since they were 4 of them. Husna had her bath there as their room got bathtub. Harga?? Double!! Time ni, Amran did the ‘gotcha-call’ to his sis, Azyan. Haha, very funny! Read the her story here. That night we just spent time in room, makan marry-brown (suruh budak2 beli) and watching tv. Aku sempat baca doa awal & akhir tahun lepas solat isyak (wpun aku tahu dah lambat..huhu), nasib baik ada iPhone;) (heh, nak meracun ni)

The next day, we woke up early around 6am, get-ready and went for breakfast. First World Cafe – macam dewan makan asrama, the differences are, it is very clean, the service is very fast and the food was variety and boleh-makan type. Impressive!! Then, we straight went to theme-park and bought the tickets. Sempat tanya lady counter tu, better main indoor or outdoor. She said, since that morning the weather looked ok (not raining), better play outdoor first. So we followed the suggestion. BUT, it was so damn cold out there!!! Husna dah macam orang nak pegi main salji je. Bulu mata Husna (in fact semua orang) ada macam air terlekat..huhuhu sejuk betul. Banyak kali dah pegi Genting, ini lah hari dalam sejarah, memang sejuk sangat2, dlm 10-14 celcius. (Azyan’s story part 2)
       
 

  
Apa-apa pun, sangat puas hati sbb budak2 happy. Mana nak cari kakak ipo yang bawak adik-adik ipo pi jalan-jalan (haha, mesti promote diri sendiri). Husna pun seronok sangat sbb dapat main macam2 dan jumpa semua auntie-auntienya serentak!

Biliknya bersih (yelah hotel baru katakan), gambar2 yang sangat unik, berserta seterika, bathrobe dan kelengkapan yang patut bilik hotel ada. Di sini, guest boleh pilih bath tub atau pun power shower. Secara jujur, aku tidak se-surprise-mana, kerana ini hotel baru tapi pemandangan dari bilik kami sangat memeranjatkan seperti aku cerita sebelum ini…dari bilik kami, boleh nampak The Jetty, Masjid Selat Melaka dan sudah tentu Selat Melaka yang aku sangka sudah lama terkubur kecantikannya=) Korang boleh tengok kat sini, apa yang aku maksudkan. Swimming poolnya juga menarik – dari hadapan kelihatan seperti ‘tergantung’. Kami bawa Husna sebelah petang, melepaskan ‘gian’nya..hehe sampai lupa nak ambil gambar.

Tema dinner malam itu ialah ‘Fisherman’s Catch’ (kot), kena betul dengan kesukaan kami sekeluarga. Tak ramai orang so kami dilayan begitu baik dan mesra sekali [Baca: Harusla kan ko layan aku - aku bayar 50+ sekepala ok]. Bila tanya Husna dia nak makan apa, boleh tak dia ckp dengan waiter tu – “I want scramble egg!”. Dengan tidak keberatan, dia pun memesan untuk kami. Selepas itu barulah, Husna nak makan udang. Amran pun tak lepas peluang mencuba tiram – aku? belum sanggup lagi. Paling aku enjoy sekali ialah waktu menikmati dessertnya…yum yum yum! Burp!=)

As for Husna, this was her second time travel by aeroplane. The first one was the time when AIST conducting PHP Training in Langkawi. She was not a year yet, so I wasn’t facing a problem at all. But this time, I was so nervous to think what she’s going to behave in the flight (2 1/2 jam beb) plus I get air sick easily:(( Alhamdullilah, Husna was just fine, and boleh tido lagi. Papa took care of her all the way…while the big boss was busy holding the airsickness bag.Phew!

Tourist guide? Hehe, ada, His name is Sumardi – tak bertauliah tp ‘boleh la’ (translated: cannot expect to much) sbb free;) We arrived KK around 2pm, Sumardi and his father brought us to one of the kedai makan near Sempelang for lunch. I had a nasi goreng ayam, and ‘pau’ some Gado-gado Sabah from Muza. It’s quite same with rojak in Semenanjung but the sauce is much ‘cair’ than what we have here. Sumardi’s father had reminded us that Sabah’s time is 1 hour+ earlier than Semenanjung, which means, Subuh is around 5am and maghrib is at 6.20+pm. What a important note! Anyway, Sumardi, thanks for the lunch!

Then, we headed to our apartment. We stayed at Seamaiden Holiday Apartments - a strategic location in KK. The apartment cost only RM400 per night which I think it was perfect for us with 2 families (+ Pauzi & family) and 2 org bujang: Muza & Salimie. It has 3 bedrooms – 1 master room (king size) & 2 bedrooms of queen size, fridge n etc. Papa was most tempted of the free WiFi access, definitely perfect la for him, who is addicted to internet. Everything was just perfect except:

1) no Qiblat sign (mujur ada astro’s disc;)
2) no shampoo (tp ada sabun)
3) cannot cook ( the gas is not provided eventhough the stove is there-takpelah, bukan aku nk masak pun!)

After lepaking and enjoying the view, Sumardi fetched us to his house (Kg. Unggun, Menggatal) for dinner. We felt so welcome as his parents were so friendly and kind. We were served with the delicious udang, ikan and sotong bakar,
even Husna and Syakir (Pauzi’s elder son), sempat membuat ‘kuih’ there. Serasi sungguhlah!

Thanks again, Sumardi & family – we are really appreciate with the hospitality.

Second day, the guys had been influenced by Sumardi & his father to go to Kinabalu Park and Poring’s hot spring. So we headed there after he managed to rent a suv, Toyota Gaia. Macam sardin jugaklah, sbb 7+3 persons. Practically, it was NOT a good idea to go there with 3 children. Perjalanannya sungguh mencabar dan penuh dgn muntah..haha. Husna was the first person who vomitted. Sian anak mama. Dia mabuk, tade tempat duduk betul2. To mamas out there, bring more plastic bags + extra cloth for your kids;)

Well, aku tak puas hati sangat with this trip, selain dari the fresh air, the cold breeze, the fog and clouds, it was just OK. I even got no chance to see the mountain:( Mungkin sebab ‘tourist guide’nya pun tak tahu sangat tempatnya (Madi, kami maafkan;), so tak byk exploring. We had lunch at Balsam Cafe then we went to Botanical Garden.

It was raining so we bought raincoats(rm4) and we ’sort-of’ jungle trekking there;) Husna was so excited because she could play in the rain-she never done that!

Something I noticed, the park management should make a good sign board for tourists!

Ohh, Salimie n the boys had chance to be heroes to some cute girls who were stuck in the rain, as their car could not climb the hill…hehe, macam2. Dah tu, mintak no.phone pun takut..aparaaa!

Then, we went to Kundasang’s market. Papa bought some mangosteens and ‘buah salak’. Muza and I bought the ‘Sabah pakis’-we dont know the name (blame the tourist guide-asyik tak tahu je;). Kak Azie bought some keropoks. Later, we drove back to KK. The trip to Poring had to cancel cause the rain was getting heavily:( The trip back was challenging too. More clouds, many lorries and more puke! Sampai apartment, memang gila penat. Papa ordered Pizza je.

Next morning-last day in KK, we went to Filipino Market - bought some pearls. Then, we went to the next market (lupa nama dia), which sell salted, dried fish, squid, shrimp and etc. I bought some too. Next, we went to Warisan Square, but had lunch at the food court in Centre Point (sblah je). I tell you, the price was so damn expensive! Lebih baik makan fast food je! Later, we planned for shopping, unluckily at the moment, Husna started to crank. Her cold wa
s getting bad. So, kami tak membazir duit (lucky us:), only papa got his new Nike brand laptop bag and we went back to apartment. Tido.

7.00pm we checked-out, headed to airport. 9.15pm departure. In the flight, Husna was cranky all the way and I puked all the way back:(( Around 12am we safely arrived LCCT. John fetched us – thanks bro. Unfortunately, Husna had fever, her temperature rise up to 38 celcius. I didnt sleep that nite..cooling her down with cold towels. After her temperature turned down, I slept then. We took Husna to clinic nearby early morning. Evening, when she looked ok, we drove back to Melaka.

Again, many thanks to AIST, my sayang – Amran, Sumardi & family and last but not least to my new shoes KK – we will come again!

27-07-2007 (Sat) -KLCC

This was the first time Husna went to Suria KLCC. I forgot why we went there, but I do remember she said ‘water jump’ when she saw the fountain outside the mall. She was very excited and almost wanted to jump in the water!

05/08/07 (Sun) – Shopping time!

We went again to Branded Outlet Store at Ikano. We bought all new baju for Husna. She can’t wear the old bajus anymore. Nampak perut anak mama:) Seluar pun senteng. So we shopped like we were the richest parents in the world..haha. Tahu berapa? RM600+. Sikit je kan. But it’s really worth,the clothings are good quality and nice. Dari I membazir di Guess, it’s ok to get rejected baju but branded for Husna.

See this Levi’s jacket..it is only RM49.90. You cant find the flaw that made it being rejected. Believe me…you will suprise. Ohh, Husna tido at that time. Me? Excited. Papa dia over-excited!

06 to 07/08/07 (Mon – Tues) – Husna at Genting.

It was my midterm break. So I took 2 days leave. We decided to go to Genting. Although at first it was full (through online), but after we called we managed to get a room. We stayed at Resort Hotel. Very convenient and impressive especially the bathroom. We admired the shower most. I think Papa got its pic. Husna naik merry-go-round banyak kali:) Actually, almost all children games, she could play. Their requirements are only height..heh, for sure my tall daughter could play. Tapi we didnt want to take the risk. Just play apa yang boleh saja. More pictures here.

18/08/07 (Sat)- New shoes and ‘fire jump’

We went to Putrajaya to watch the Fireworks International Competition at PICC. Tapi tengok kat tepi jalan je. She said ‘fire jump’ when she saw it. Kelakar kan, but when think of it, the fire was jumping actually kan? For a girl that is not 2 years yet, the word is excellent. Bravo sayang!

Ohh..before that, we sempat bought her a new shoes at Mothercare, Alamanda for RM105!! Gile!

19/08/07 (Sun) – Mission 1 : Bring Mak to KLCC.

I planned with abah, to take mak n him to visit KLCC on Sunday. Kebetulan that weekend, they were staying in Cik Ton’s house to visit Faiz (ohh dia accident, muka hampir hancur). So after lunch, we started our challenging journey..hehe, challenging sbb mak phobia of escalator. I didnt think how to pujuk mak there, just gamble saja! Mak had no choice, terpaksa ikut kami. Luckily she didnt merajuk or marah…hehe sorry mak. Kami singgah at Auntie Anne’s before drove home. Finally, we arrived melaka, safe and sound! Mission Accomplished! Actually mak suka. I heard she told ibu and her children about KLCC. Next mission : KL Central – Here Esah come! Muahahaha!! View more pictures here.

21/08/07 (Tues) – Getting the last vaccine

Husna got her last vaccine finally (tinggal 6 and 12 years old). The rest is only additional. As we know, my baby is very strong, dia tak demam pun-alhamdullilah. Cuma ngada2, takleh jalan:)
