Ohh…Husna has been sick for 4 days..huhuhu. Sedih tengok dia. Anak mama yang active ni jadi lembik aje..

Start hari Khamis petang (17/4), masa mama bagi dia makan, baru 1 suap dia muntah. Mula-mula tak suspect apa-apa, sebab dia muntah kacang. Dia makan byk kacang yang ibu bawak from Cairo. Kacang tu masin sangat..so I guessed maybe it is caused by the MSG. Kadang2 kalau dia makan junk food lebih2 pun dia akan muntah..so I thought oklah. Later than, after magrib, I went to buy mee goreng kat depan. I brought Husna there, while waiting she said she wanted to vomit…mama bawak dia ke tepi longkang and yup, she vomited there. oo oh, something wrong with my baby ni. Bila balik, she vomited again…a few times!

9pm, I brought Husna back to Tmn Merdeka..she thrown up again, a few times too. As she did not take any food, she vomited water only, even I gave her some 100plus also keluar. I started to panic, waiting for Papa back from KL then right away, we brought Husna to Sohvindir Clinic. Sohvindir sekeluarga pegi Australia..so doctor luar yang gantikan dia. She diagnosed Husna had windy stomach. Husna kena masuk ubat di buntutnya – untuk tahan muntah. Sampai rumah, dia muntah lagi..dan lagi…then cirit skit. All the night, I didn’t sleep at all…dia muntah2 aje. Yang aku sedih, kenapa la aku tak bawak dia malam tu jugak ke hospital:(

Esok pagi, bawak Husna pegi Pantai, ibu-ayah, amran ikut sekali. Husna dah lembik, minum air kosong pun keluar balik:( I had prepared some nappies and baju, mama mcm dpt rasa Husna akan kena tahan. Dr. Lee diagnosed – Husna kena intestine infection. Demam pun tinggi – 38.8 cel. He suggested to admit Husna tapi we asked for another option. So Husna kena injection and masuk ubat demam di buntut. He gave 6 hours, if Husna vomits again, we have to come there. Kami bawak balik…Husna mkn sedikit sup..then tido nak dekat 5 jam. Mama lega sebab dia tak muntah lagi, and dah kebah skit.

Sabtu, dia ok cuma demam sekejap2, selera tak berapa tapi tak muntah. I perasan dia ada poot skit sebelah pagi. I thought it’s normal sebab panas (I wrong again). Kami sempat bawak dia pegi birthday party’s Silesh (my fren’s son). Husna ok, makan skit ayam. Habis majlis, papa nak cari belt, so singgah di Sembonia. Mama terbau busuk..tanya Husna, dia kentut ke..dia jawap ye. I checked…dia dah cirit lagi. Again..something wrong with my daughter. Sejak petang tu, sampai ke hari ni (tadi) dia dah cirit beberapa kali…huhu…sian anak mama. Sedih aku.

Husna muntah 12pm tadi…so aku-papa terus bawak dia pegi ke Pantai. Sblm pegi, mama sempat call clinic Dr. Lee, dia dah nak tutup (12.30pm)…if we could arrive before 1pm, they will accept us. Dlm perjalanan, mama ckp pada papa..rasa mcm tak sempat, kalau kita pegi clinic emergency Pantai tu, mesti Husna ke admit kan, so kami decide nak bawak dia ke child specialist yang dekat saja…clinic sama kawasan dengan Sohvindir Clinic, bila lalu depan tu nampak Dr. Kulwant (the husband) tgh minum. Aku pun singgah, mana tau Dr. Sohvindir (the wife) yang on duty. Tapi Dr. Kulwant yang on duty…tapi takpelah…aku percaya diagnose dia skit.

His diagnosis sama dengan Dr. Lee cuma lebih specific, dan terangkan aku dgn details. He did mention the virus name, heh tapi mama tak ingat langsung. He also explained to us that this problem doesn’t need antibiotic..dia sampai ckp..’never, never treat with antibiotics’. Dia suruh bagi air banyak2 and perhatikan dia. Kalau dia lembik sangat, tak bagi respon apa2, then kena bawak ke hospital. Dia kata it’s ok kalau dia muntah or cirit sikit. Temperature Husna at that time was below average – 34.6 cel, which is not good.

Husna, cepat baik ye. Minum air banyak2 ok, sayang. Mama, papa tak boleh buat keje langsung tengok husna lembik aje. Ini yang paling teruk Husna sakit. I’m hoping that this will be her first and last time she can be sick as bad as this. Ya Allah, kasihanilah anak kami..Amin.

Cold

Husna is having a cold since yesterday. Yesterday, was quite bad. She had a runny nose and had been snizzen all day. She doesnt know how to blow her nose and refuse to rub Vicks on her nose. I just rub on her chest and back.

Today, she seemed ok. The mucus has turned thicken and turn gray. I hope it is just a common cold. Babycenter says : “If he plays and eats normally (or almost normally — he might eat a bit less and drag a little), then it’s probably a cold.” – ohh ok, she eats and plays normally, so it is a common cold:) Lagi pun musim hujan ni. We might wondering why we get sick very often during musim hujan, ni sebabnya. –>

Husna got her fever ‘back’. I guess ni penangan raya kot or maybe her geraham is broken. I can see it, on her right cheek. Itu org tua ckp. Technically, my baby’s body is fighting the germs that make her body temperature is turning heat. H*ll to the germs!

I accidentally touched her face while she was napping next to me and i felt very warm. At first I thot bcoz of my cold hand, then I checked her stomach, neck and hand..ya allah, it was like touching my hot nescafe! I couldnt find my thermometer – tak tahu panas dia berapa. Disbbkan dia tido lagi, so I tak sampai hati nak kejutkan dia. Tak lama tu, she woke n crying and asked me to take her out. I knew smothing wrong…bila turunkan dia aje, she vomited on the floor. huhu..she is just like me, demam mesti vomit. Tukar baju, kemas lantai, dah siap semua…I called ibu and it was combat time!! Then dia tido lagi….

Last nite, she couldnot sleep and didnt want her milk. Dah buaikan dia, once we put her at her cot, bangun balik, mintak tido dgn mama. Lama betul pujuk dia tido. Ntah pukul brp dia tido. Papa tido terbalik, Husna tido kat kaki papa. I pun tak lena, skjap2 rasa panas dia. Anak demam panas kena jaga2, takut suddenly the temperature rises, the child could has the Febrile seizures. Nauzubilaminzalik!

Today, she looks better. I hope she will get well soon. Hati mama risau, syg:(

Ekon bilik ni, dah mcm nk m**p*s je! Heh, sabar pun ada hadnya. <– saje melepaskan geram!

Husna demam lagi. Not only fever, infact she got everything…cough, cold and sore eye too. Merah and berair mata dia. Uwaaa.. sian anak mama. Ubat dia ..mak aii..6 jenis, termasuk ubat mata! Dah la ubat time is like combat time. You should see how strong she was struggling. But now we use a syringe, it is easier than use a spoon.

Last nite, she couldn’t sleep because her nose blocking up. She slept on my lap, while sitting and hugging me. Lagi sedih, she is having her first cough…(heh, aku tulis mcm having her first period plak:P), so she will cry once she coughs…plus she doesnt know how to spit the phlegm. Not to mention, her crank. Skejap nak susu, skejap tanak. Skejap nak dukung, skejap nak baring…pening! Kalau ada papa, takpe jugak…he was here on Sunday only-we went to clinic together before went to Bt Pahat. At least, he got the ‘chance’ to see her sickness.

I wonder how other kids n parents handle this medicine problem. So I googled about this, I found that most of the methods, I’ve already tried before. And it is not working with my kid:( Anyway, these are few tips I found: play as a game, use syringe , mix with milk (not recommended) and lastly mix with ice-cream.

Cepat la baik ye, sayang. Ya Allah, sembuhkan anak ku..amiin.

My Husna got fever:( She has not been sick for the past 6 months, so it’s quite a rough time for both of us especially for ubat time. At clinic, she showed her ‘peel’…it was quite challenging for the doctor just to take her temperature;) Last night, she slept only a few hours…nearly 3 times she woke up. She was a good sleeper, I guess before this. In the past 2 weeks, she has been waking up every 3 or 4 am, crying or merengek. I have to take her out from the cot and let her sleep beside me. Since her sleep has been disrupted, she has been fussy and cranky during the day. I noticed her tooth had broken through. Sian anak mama, gigi baru 4;)

Kak Yati gave me a tips to reduce the temperature. She asked me to give some 100 Plus to Husna. I did, and it worked eventhough I believe more that the ubat that I gave earlier was working..hehe. Tapi I memang penah dengar from Dr Sohvindir, when u got fever drink some 100 Plus to cool your body. Hehee..That’s quite rationale.

Papa? As before.. I dont know, it’s like a fate for me and a luck for him. Every time Husna gets sick, he wont be around. She missed her papa… i guess:(

My dear, my darling Husna….please get well soon. Ya Allah, permudahkan segalanya. Amin.
